Morinaga Matcha Gateau Chocolate Pies

I had high hopes for these, but the image on the box is misleading. The cake is nice, fudgy, and moist, the chocolate coating around the cake is lovely and just the right amount of sweet, but there's very little actual matcha cream inside these. I actually cut them in half width-wise to see and it looks like around 1 teaspoon of cream spread very thinly-- quite different from the image on the box.

So while these are good chocolate cake snacks, they're really lacking on the matcha cream part :(
